Valued Member Spotlight

A quarterly SDDC Member acknowledgment, in recognizing the contribution of an Active Member. Every quarter, San Diego Dementia Consortium asks it’s Members to nominate a fellow Active Member (individual or organization). The SDDC Board then votes on the winning delegate, based on the amount of time/effort or money that has been contributed by the Active Member.

As outgoing president of the San Diego Dementia Consortium, Dr. Glenn Panzer has been recognized by his fellow peers as a Valuable Member of San Diego Dementia Consortium. Together they’ve focused on creating programs in educating the community of San Diego about Dementia.

October 2017 SPOTLIGHT

To kick off our Valued Member Spotlight, we’d like to show our collective appreciation for the pioneers of San Diego Dementia Consortium; Dr. Gilbert J. Ho, Sam Stelletello & Kathy Randall.

Their primary focus was, to develop a Physical/Cognitive form to be introduced to the ER upon admission, to assist the doctors and nurses, to communicate with the dementia patient being admitted and reduce unnecessary testing and improve care levels. This form is currently being used & can be found at:  Cognitive/Physical Data Form

Dr. Gilbert J. Ho currently works as a neurologist in Poway and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Palomar Medical Center and Pomerado Hospital.  Sam Stelletello, is the owner of Sunshine Care, a memory community & serves as San Diego Dementia Consortium’s Treasurer.
